TRANSPORT & FACILITIES ASSISTANT
We’re seeking a reliable and versatile Transport & Facilities Assistant to support our operations. This role combines transportation duties with facilities management responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their daily work.
Position Overview
As a Transport & Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for safely transporting staff and visitors while also supporting the maintenance and management of our facilities. This is a key operational role that keeps our organization running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties
- Safely transport staff, visitors, and authorized passengers
- Maintain assigned vehicle in clean and good working condition
- Follow planned routes and schedules
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations
- Complete trip logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Respond to transportation requests promptly
Facilities Support
- Assist with facilities management and maintenance tasks
- Support building upkeep and cleanliness
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Monitor facility conditions and report issues
- Assist with setup for meetings and events
- Ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards
General Duties
- Perform errands and deliveries as required
- Assist with inventory and supplies management
- Support various departments with logistical needs
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance
Essential Requirements
MUST HAVE:
- Valid Driver’s License (Minibus Class) – This is mandatory
Additional Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Good knowledge of Georgetown and surrounding areas
- Physical fitness for facilities-related tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional demeanor
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in transport or facilities roles
- Basic maintenance or handyman skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multitask effectively
