Position Overview
As a Marketing/Sales Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing sales activities, and promoting our logistics services to potential and existing clients. This role requires a blend of marketing expertise and sales acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Activities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote logistics services
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels
- Manage digital marketing initiatives and online presence
- Oversee social media management and content creation
- Execute basic online advertising campaigns
- Develop promotional materials and marketing content
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Sales & Business Development
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Present and promote logistics services to potential clients
- Prepare sales proposals and quotations
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
- Follow up on sales leads and opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports
Client Relations
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Address client inquiries and concerns professionally
- Support client retention and satisfaction initiatives
- Gather client feedback and market insights
Brand Management
- Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field (required)
Experience
- 2 years of work experience in Marketing (required)
- Previous experience in sales or business development preferred
- Experience in logistics or related industry an asset
