Position Overview

As a Marketing/Sales Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing sales activities, and promoting our logistics services to potential and existing clients. This role requires a blend of marketing expertise and sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Activities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote logistics services
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives and online presence
  • Oversee social media management and content creation
  • Execute basic online advertising campaigns
  • Develop promotional materials and marketing content
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Present and promote logistics services to potential clients
  • Prepare sales proposals and quotations
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
  • Follow up on sales leads and opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports

Client Relations

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Address client inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Support client retention and satisfaction initiatives
  • Gather client feedback and market insights

Brand Management

  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field (required)

Experience

  • 2 years of work experience in Marketing (required)
  • Previous experience in sales or business development preferred
  • Experience in logistics or related industry an asset
