Onshore / Offshore – Guyana
We are looking for an experienced FPSO Storekeeper to support onshore warehouse operations. The role requires FPSO warehousing experience, strong knowledge of MRO materials, and the ability to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
Position Overview
As a Storekeeper supporting FPSO operations, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring accurate material handling and traceability for both onshore and offshore operations. This role is critical to supporting the smooth functioning of FPSO activities.
Key Responsibilities
Material Receiving & Inspection
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and condition
- Ensure all materials meet quality and specification requirements
- Document receipts and discrepancies
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams
Warehouse Organization & Management
- Organize, store, repack, and label materials following FPSO standards
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout
- Ensure proper storage conditions for different material types
- Implement and maintain warehouse best practices
Inventory Control & Documentation
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records using SAP/WMS
- Ensure full traceability of all materials and components
- Track stock movements and maintain updated records
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations
Material Dispatch & Logistics
- Prepare and document material dispatches for offshore and onshore operations
- Coordinate with logistics teams on material movements
- Ensure all dispatch documentation is accurate and complete
- Package and prepare materials for safe transport
Stock Management
- Conduct stock counts, audits, and reconciliations
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder requirements
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels
Operations & Safety
- Operate material handling systems and equipment safely
- Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance at all times
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams
- Support cross-functional teams with material requirements
- Communicate effectively on stock availability and issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Must Have Requirements
Experience (Critical)
- At least 2+ years FPSO warehousing experience (required)
- Onshore warehouse experience supporting FPSO operations
- Proven track record in warehouse and inventory management
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials
- Proven skills in inventory control, traceability, and documentation
- SAP and/or structured warehouse management system experience (required)
- Understanding of FPSO logistics and material requirements
