Position Overview

As HR Manager at Elite Protection Services, you will be the strategic leader of our human resources function, responsible for recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and overall HR strategy for Guyana’s premier security services provider.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment efforts for all positions across the organization
  • Develop and implement effective hiring strategies
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Build talent pipelines for security personnel and administrative staff
  • Conduct interviews and selection processes

Compliance & Regulatory

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guyanese labor legislation
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee documentation and records
  • Ensure adherence to security industry requirements

Employee Relations

  • Lead employee relations initiatives
  • Address workplace concerns and grievances
  • Foster positive employee engagement
  • Develop retention strategies
  • Support performance management processes
  • Facilitate conflict resolution

HR Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage HR budget and resources
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration
  • Implement training and development programs
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to leadership
  • Lead organizational development initiatives

Team Leadership

  • Supervise HR staff and coordinate departmental activities
  • Mentor and develop HR team members
  • Collaborate with senior management on workforce planning

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of HR experience required
  • Previous experience in a managerial or senior HR role
  • Experience in the security industry is a strong asset
  • Proven track record in recruitment and talent management

  • Strong knowledge of Guyanese labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
