Position Overview

As a Premises Administration Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration and maintenance of GBTI’s premises, ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational across our network of branches.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of bank premises
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
  • Ensure all facilities meet safety and regulatory standards
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Conduct regular inspections of bank premises

Administrative Support

  • Manage premises-related documentation and records
  • Process work orders and maintenance requests
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures related to facilities
  • Prepare reports on premises conditions and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with various departments on facility needs

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Implement and maintain security protocols
  • Monitor equipment and systems performance
  • Support business continuity planning
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and materials

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with branch managers and other departments
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
  • Support new branch setups and renovations
  • Provide recommendations for facility improvements

Requirements

Education

  • Relevant degree or diploma in facilities management, administration, or a related field

Experience

  • Previous experience in premises or facilities management preferred
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and operations
  • Experience working in a banking or financial services environment an asset

  • Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal)
