TRANSPORT & FACILITIES ASSISTANT

We’re seeking a reliable and versatile Transport & Facilities Assistant to support our operations. This role combines transportation duties with facilities management responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their daily work.

Position Overview

As a Transport & Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for safely transporting staff and visitors while also supporting the maintenance and management of our facilities. This is a key operational role that keeps our organization running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Duties

  • Safely transport staff, visitors, and authorized passengers
  • Maintain assigned vehicle in clean and good working condition
  • Follow planned routes and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with traffic regulations
  • Complete trip logs and vehicle inspection reports
  • Respond to transportation requests promptly

Facilities Support

  • Assist with facilities management and maintenance tasks
  • Support building upkeep and cleanliness
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Monitor facility conditions and report issues
  • Assist with setup for meetings and events
  • Ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards

General Duties

  • Perform errands and deliveries as required
  • Assist with inventory and supplies management
  • Support various departments with logistical needs
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance

Essential Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • Valid Driver’s License (Minibus Class) – This is mandatory

Additional Requirements:

  • Clean driving record
  • Good knowledge of Georgetown and surrounding areas
  • Physical fitness for facilities-related tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Professional demeanor
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transport or facilities roles
  • Basic maintenance or handyman skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask effectively
