We are looking for an experienced Radio Operator to join our team. Applications close March 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external communications in accordance with the instructions and needs of the OIM
- Control of the Helicopter POB and update the OIM on flight delays or cancellations
- Transmit and receive documentation and handle traffic control radio communications via VHF and SSB
- Administer discipline to be followed in the area for helicopters and vessels traveling in the region
- Act as Administrative Assistant to the OIM team
- Prepare timesheets and overtime records for all Brazilian crew
- Attend to emergency communications including MAYDAY, PANPAN and SECURITE
- Organize crew safety documents and records relating to flag documentation in Seaman’s books
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- GMDSS certification
- Fluent in English
