About the Role
Under strict supervision, the Tool Technician assembles and disassembles down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment. This is the entry-level position into the Tool Tech family.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment and production equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair functions on applicable equipment
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines
- Take an active part in the quality improvement process
Qualifications
- Completion of a technical diploma
- Ability to perform maintenance and repair functions on down-hole tools and surface equipment
- Basic mathematical and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
- A positive attitude with energy and passion for learning
- License to drive commercial equipment may be required
