Job Summary
Correia Group of Companies is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Safety & Quality Officer in Guyana.
The successful candidate will assist with aviation safety and quality assurance by conducting internal and external audits, monitoring compliance with aviation regulations, reviewing aircraft maintenance records, and investigating unsafe conditions. The role also involves preparing audit reports, following up on findings, and supporting the implementation of safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
The Safety & Quality Officer will be responsible for:
- Conducting internal and external audits of facilities, equipment, procedures, maintenance activities, technical records, libraries, and stores.
- Monitoring compliance with airworthiness data and statutory logbooks.
- Preparing audit reports and following up on identified findings.
- Liaising with the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority on designated matters.
- Reviewing aircraft records to verify compliance and ensure that the required certifications are correct.
- Assisting with training activities and the preparation of maintenance schedules and manuals.
- Investigating and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements:
- At least three (3) GCE subjects with grades C or above, or CXC subjects with grades 3 or above.
- English and Mathematics are required subjects.
- Physics and other Science subjects are considered an asset.
Additional qualifications and training:
- Auditor training would be an advantage.
- Safety Management System (SMS) training would be an asset.
