POSITION: TRAINEE QUALITY & SAFETY OFFICER

Reports to: Quality/Safety Manager
The Correia Group of Companies invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Trainee Quality & Safety Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely completion of all tasks identified in accordance with the internal Quality/Safety Audit Schedule. This includes conducting audits of the Organisation’s facilities, equipment, and procedures, as agreed with the Quality/Safety Manager, across the Maintenance, Technical Records, Library, Stores and Training Departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend the following meetings: General Staff Meeting (quarterly), Unit Meetings, and Quality/Safety Meetings. Conduct a programme of audits on the Organisation’s facilities, equipment, Maintenance, Technical Records, Library, Stores, and Training Departments, and carry out external audits on suppliers as agreed with the Quality/Safety Manager. Prepare audit reports and follow up on such reports in accordance with the agreed procedures. Assist with the compilation of all amendments to the Aircraft Maintenance Schedules, the Organisation’s Maintenance Procedures Manual, and the SMS Manual.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
A minimum of three (3) subjects at GCE (grades C or above) or CXC (grades I-III), including English Language and Mathematics. Physics and other science subjects would be an asset. Auditor training would be an advantage. SMS (Safety Management System) training.
